The following figure shows the Quality Policy signed by the director general of Railway Bureau,MOTC (RB), with details as follows:
Railways are a critical infrastructure for socioeconomic development. All colleagues at the RB do their best and uphold the principle of “Quality First, Pursuit of Excellence,” and are dedicated to creating a better railway life.
Based on the ISO 9001 system, we strive to achieve the four major quality goals—Sustainability, Safety, Innovation, and Quality excellence—through full management and continuous improvement:
- Sustainability:Promoting railway construction and Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), fulfilling our responsibilities for net-zero emissions and a sustainable Earth.
- Railway Safety:Introducing a Safety Management System and pursuing a safe railway with "Zero disasters and Zero accidents."
- Railway Innovation:Guiding the orderly development of domestic smart railways through innovative management.
- Localization of Railway Systems:The promotion of policies and action plans for the localization of railway systems aiming to establish high-quality proprietary technological capabilities.
